"She Wolf" Roman Coin Pendant on an 18inch chain in 22ct Gold Plate

£98.00
Sold Out

Cast from an authentic Roman coin from 333AD, the age of Emperor Constantine the Great, this pendant clearly depicts the story of the birth of Roman with the image of the she-wolf suckling the twins Romulus and Remus.

The obverse (which is the fancy term for the ‘heads’ side of a coin) bares the profile of Emperor Constantine the Great, meaning that this piece can be worn with either side facing outwards.

How incredible it is to be able to wear a long-preserved peice of history.

Please swipe through the images to see the size of the pendant in relation to a 10pence coin.

This item is avaliable in either 22ct Gold Plate (as pictured), solid silver or solid 9ct gold .

This item is placed on an 18inch chain.

Please see the Caring for your Jewellery page for my cleaning and storage recommendations.

GOLD PLATE

Gold Plate offers the look of gold without the price tag, but it’s not infallible. Gold Plate will wear off over time.
The time it takes to wear off depends on how well you care for your jewellery.

  • Do not wear Gold Plate in the shower.

  • Do not wear Gold Plate in the ocean.

  • Do not wear Gold Plate to the gym (the salt in your sweat will have the same corrosive effect as sea water).

  • Keep Gold Plated pieces in an air tight box or jewellery box.

Sometimes the acidity of an individual’s skin will wear Gold Plate pieces quicker than other people - it’s down to your own composition.
If you treat your Gold Plate pieces well then they should last for a year. I do offer a replating service, price depending on item.
